The Cake Lady...

One of my good friends, Saadiya, is an absolute genius with words. She recently wrote this poem dedicated to me!! So cute, and it tells the exact reason why I love baking and designing these beautiful edible creations. I was so touched when I read it, I had to share it with The Bakeshop fans.

WE LOVE SPRINKLES!

At the Bakeshop we are obsessed with colourful sprinkles. The most traditional cake decoration and definitely the most fun! For my Dad's 50th Birthday we decided to throw him a very traditional old school birthday party, to take him bake to his childhood days. Balloons, streamers, blowouts, party hats!! Oh what birthday fun! The cake we made fit the party perfectly!
