Quantity Surveyor Cake
Many of you may not know this, but I am in fact a Quantity Surveyor by profession. I made this Quantity Surveyor themed cake for Michael Cyrolies at the BTKM offices (where I work) when he got his Professional Status in 2013. I had so much fun creating this one, as it was the first time my two worlds collided.
Congrats Michael!
Pokemon Power!
Apologies for the poor picture quality on this one. I had just enough time for a very quick snap before the cake was picked up by a very happy client.
Giant Wedding Cupcake
This giant cupcake was created as a gift for a Bride on her wedding day. She absolutely loves cupcakes and her Future Sister-in-law wanted to spoil her with something special so she thought this would be perfect!

Turquoise and Peach...
One of our favourite colour combinations at the Bakeshop. These cupcakes were made for a client who had seen a similar design featured on The Cutest Party on the Block, and asked us to create the same cuppies.
We love the end result!

Beach Fun!!
Recently a Bakeshop client from Johannesburg who was coming to Durban for a holiday ordered a birthday cake for her daughter Zia. And what better themed cake for a Durban holiday than the Beach!
We were sure to include all the elements that make up a great day at the beach!

A Pastel Quilted Surprise
My best friend Aadila has always wanted a monogrammed cake for her birthday. So last December (yes, this post is very late!) I decided to make her one in cute pastel colours... And she was thrilled!
Birthday Bouquet!
We just love delivering cupcake bouquets to people on their birthdays! They always think they're flowers, till they get close enough to realise they're cupcakes! And we always get a great reaction!
